Higher thinking skills?
Research indicates that visual/spatial abilities are indicators of higher thinking skills such as those needed by engineers, architects, and designers. Students of multiple ages and stages love to build and create with their hands, so we say YES to time spent with Lincoln Logs, Legos, blocks, and beyond…

Program Overview
The Warren After School Program is available from 3-5:30pm every school day – cost: $8 per child per day. Early pickup (by 4pm) costs only $4. The cost for upper unit students (5th and 6th graders) who attend WASP after Study Hall is also only $4, as is the same for students participating in a sport. At 4:30, M-Th, all students who have homework are invited to come to the cafeteria to complete their homework! On half days, we offer an extended program beginning at 12:30pm which increases the daily cost to $12 per child.
We serve a snack everyday including fresh fruit, juices (not everyday), granola bars, and/or a variety of snack crackers (goldfish, cheezits, pretzels, etc.) On Movie Fridays we offer popcorn, and on Fridays during the ski program, we serve a warm snack such as grilled cheese sandwiches, macaroni and cheese, or pizza, and hot chocolate!
WASP relies solely on tuition and fundraisers throughout the school year to survive and thrive. If you have any questions, requests, or comments, please let us hear from you! You may post a comment here, find one of us after school, or email us at warrenafterschool@yahoo.com.
For the children,
The WASP Team

Remember when…
Here are a few pictures from the Spring 2011 Fishing Club adventures. Thank you to Blaire, the parents, the Robinsons (for use of their pond!), and the guys at the Roxbury Fish Hatchery, who helped make it all possible!
